--Helicopter Henro--

Although their brochure says that this package is curently not offered, in 1998 one company offered the below pilgrimage package for henro wanting to make the pilgrimage by helicopter. No price was mentioned, but they asked for a down payment of ¥100,000.

Day 1
Meet at Tokushima airport.
Leave at 10:30 by limousine and go to Temple 1. While there, receive a talk from the priest and have lunch.
Travel by limousine to Temples 2-7, then go back to Tokushima airport.
Leave at 14:50 by helicopter and travel to Temples 8-17.
Go back to Tokushima airport.
Leave again for Temples 18-28.
Arrive at Kochi airport at 17:20.
Travel by limousine to hotel. Stay the night.

Day 2
Leave the hotel by limousine at 7:30 and go to Temples 29-32.
Go to Kochi airport and travel by helicopter to Temples 33-38.
Break for refueling.
Travel by helicopter to Temples 39-49.
Arrive at Matsuyama airport at 16:00.
After a break, leave at 16:30 and travel by limousine to Temple 50 and 51.
Go to hotel. Stay the night.

Day 3
Leave the hotel by limousine at 8:00.
Leave Matsuyama airport at 9:00 by helicopter and travel to Temples 52-66.
Refuel at Unpenji heliport.
Take the ropeway up to Temple 66, Unpenji and have lunch.
Leave Unpenji heliport at 1:30 and travel by helicopter to Temples 67-74 and 81-83.
Arrive at Takamatsu airport at 14:30.
After a break, travel by limousine to Temples 75-80.
Stay the night at Kotohira.

Day 4
Leave the hotel by limousine at 8:30 and go to Temples 84-88.
